It is closer than you think
The studio is in Dukinfield, which sits in the middle of Tameside — so most of the borough is a ten-minute drive away. You come to Amy rather than the other way round, and the exact address goes out with your appointment.
Getting here
Ashton sits directly north of the studio, with the River Tame and not much else in between — it is one of the shortest journeys anyone makes to come and see Amy. Most people are here in well under ten minutes, and that is at the wrong time of day.
Getting about
Ashton is Tameside's transport hub — Metrolink, the bus interchange and the railway station all sit within a few hundred yards of each other — but for a journey this short almost everyone simply drives.
Parking
No multi-storey, no ticket machine and no two-hour limit. The studio is on a residential street, so you park outside and walk in, which is more than can be said for the Arcades on a Saturday.
